Walls Ice Cream?
I Just bought 2 tubs of Carte d’or and as the label didnt state, I thought I’d check on their website if it is suitable for vegetarians, the answer is misleading. It says on the site it isn’t suitable for ‘strict vegetarians’ (as it can contain rennet in the whey) but there is no such thing. You either are or aren’t
Here is the definition of a vegetarian “A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products” Slaughter by-products = e.g. rennet. Fine, their product is not suitable, fair enough I’ll throw it away and wont buy it in future. However what I object to is their use of the term ‘strict vegetarian’ as it is misleading.
I’ve got no problem with people who only eat fish, or don’t eat meat for health reasons, but they are not vegetarians.
Aren’t Wall’s linked to Mars? …remember all that debacle earlier this year when they said their chocolate was OK if you weren’t a ‘strict’ veggie. Much as I hate it…. I made a decision then not to buy anything related to Mars (shame… malteasers are wonderful).
I think that a number of non-veggies don’t understand the concept of vegetarianism and never will. The best thing to do is label check.

Solid article. There’s a lot of beneficial info here, though I did want to let you know something – I am working on Ubuntu with the up-to-date beta of FireFox, and the design of your website is kind of funky for me. I can figure out the articles, but the navigation doesn’t function so great.
You have a great outlook on commenting. I started blogging and it was quite quiet for weeks. I got to listen to myself think
I use a small sinker, measure where it will be at the top of the squid’s head, then mash it down some to hold it against the leader. Run the squid back through and then I stich the top of the squid around the mantle and sinker. I take the hook and run it through the head of the squid.
That rss option on your blog here is brilliant, you should tell people about it in your upcoming post. I haven’t noted it a first, now I’m using it each morning to check on any updates. I’m on a very slow dial-up connection in Kentucky and it’s rather discouraging to sit there and wait for such a long time ’til the page loads… but hey, I just found your rss page and added it to the Google Reader and there you are… I’m always up-to-date! Well pal, keep up the good work and make that rss button a little bigger so that other people can enjoy that as well
i dont understand how i found your blog as a result of i was looking out information about politics, however anyway, i had a nice time reading it, hold write it
The Kreg Jig takes advantage of a technique called Kreg Joinery. Unlike other techniques, Kreg Jig requires no glue, no complicated math, and no small army of clamps to make wood joints that will last.
thanx
No. But now i will. Thanks for that.
Hello just thought i would tell you something.. This is twice now i’ve landed on your blog in the last 3 weeks looking for completely unrelated things. Spooky or what?
amazing stuff thanx
hi it is my first post on this blog and in the begining I would like to thank for the useful information, which I found in this and all previous topics , it really helped me very much. I will definitely add this website on my rss reader
Also, I would like to ask – don’t you mind if I will quate some information from your website since I am writing articles for the Helium, Ezine and other articles directories (this is my part time job)? It would really help me with some of mine articles. Of course, I will mention your blog name or URL (not all articles directories allows URL’s , so I can’t 100% promise that you will get a direct link to your website).
I’m delighted! It’s refreshing to see someone very chuffed about what they do. Keep up the great work and I’ll return for more! Cheers
